Last night, the Austin Human Rights Commission and the Commission on Immigrant Affairs passed a resolution condemning the implementation of S-Comm in Travis County after hearing from immigrants and allies about the detrimental impact of this program on Travis County residents. This victory is the first step in ending S-Comm in Travis County!

This effort is being led by various groups, including the Austin Immigrant Rights Coalition, Grassroots Leadership, Texas Criminal Justice Coalition, ACLU of Texas, Detention Watch Network, University Leadership Initiative, Texans United for Families, Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church, American Gateways, Workers Defense Project, LULAC, and others.

From all of us, THANK YOU for your support!
